Privacy Policy

Effective September 9, 2026

1. Information we collect

OWNHAUS may collect information you provide directly, including your name, business name, email address, phone number, project details, onboarding responses, uploaded business assets, support messages, and account information.

We may also receive transaction-related information from our payment processor, such as payment status, customer identifiers, card brand, and the last four digits of a payment card. OWNHAUS does not store full payment-card numbers or security codes.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and manage OWNHAUS services; create and maintain client accounts; process setup payments and memberships; build, review, launch, and support client projects; communicate about projects and service updates; secure the platform; troubleshoot problems; maintain records; and improve the service.

3. Client assets and project data

Logos, photography, documents, menus, pricing, service information, and other files submitted through onboarding are used to build and support the client's project. Private client assets are intended to remain limited to the relevant client account and authorized OWNHAUS administrators, subject to the technical service providers needed to host and deliver the service.

4. Service providers

OWNHAUS may use third-party service providers for hosting, application infrastructure, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, domain and DNS services, and other operational functions. These providers may process information only as necessary to perform their services and are subject to their own privacy and security obligations.

5. Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe or another approved payment processor. Payment processors handle sensitive payment-card data directly. OWNHAUS may retain processor customer IDs, payment-method IDs, subscription IDs, transaction references, card brand, and last-four-digit information so billing and account records can be managed.

6. Cookies and analytics

OWNHAUS may use cookies, local storage, session technology, and analytics tools needed for authentication, site functionality, security, performance measurement, and understanding how the website is used. Browser settings may allow you to restrict some cookies, although doing so can affect site functionality.

7. When information may be shared

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers, professional advisers, or authorities when reasonably necessary to operate the service, protect rights or security, comply with law or legal process, investigate fraud or misuse, or complete a business reorganization or transfer.

8. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business and payment records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, and protect the service. Retention periods may differ by record type.

9. Your choices

You may request correction or deletion of certain information, subject to records we must retain for legal, billing, security, or contractual reasons. Clients may also manage certain billing information through available account tools or the payment processor's customer portal.

10. Security

OWNHAUS uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No online system can guarantee absolute security, and users are responsible for maintaining secure passwords and account access.

11. Children's privacy

OWNHAUS services are intended for business owners and authorized adult users and are not directed to children under 13.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.

Questions about these terms or your OWNHAUS service can be sent through the contact information provided with your project or account.
